Why RegKeeper exists
In 2026 the rules changed for a whole category of NDIS providers. Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission became mandatory for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and NDIS digital platform providers, with a deadline of 1 October 2026 to be registered or have applied.
For large providers with compliance teams, that's a project. For the small SIL operators who make up much of the sector — often a handful of dedicated people doing genuinely good work — it's a mountain of paperwork on top of an already full week. The market's answer so far has been expensive consultants, or cheap template packs that fall apart the moment an auditor asks a real question.
We built RegKeeper to sit in the honest middle: proper, organisation-specific documentation, drafted efficiently and checked by a human, at a price a small provider can actually afford. Our belief is simple — most small SIL providers are already doing the right things every day. They just can't yet prove it on paper. We fix the paper.
Who's behind it
RegKeeper is founder-led, operated from New Zealand by Arno Marten — the operator behind The A Team, a small business that builds practical systems and tools. RegKeeper started the way useful things often do: we saw a hard, time-boxed problem heading toward a sector full of small operators, and thought the existing options were either too expensive or too flimsy.
We're being deliberately transparent about being new. We'd rather tell you that plainly than dress it up — because in a trust business, how we behave before you've paid us a cent is the best evidence you'll get of how we'll behave after.
What we are — and what we're not
We are a document-preparation and information service. We turn the published SIL Practice Standards into a complete, tailored set of policies, procedures and registers for your organisation, plus a gap report and a plain-English guide to the process. Every document is reviewed by a human before it reaches you.
We are not lawyers, and nothing we produce is legal advice or a tailored legal opinion on your circumstances. We are not the NDIS, the NDIA, or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and we're not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We can't register you — you lodge your own application — and no document pack can guarantee a registration outcome. What we remove is the weeks of evenings spent writing policies from scratch.
How we work — the standards we hold ourselves to
- Cited, not claimed. Every regulatory statement we make links to an official NDIS or Commission source. If we can't cite it, we don't say it.
- Human-reviewed. AI does the heavy drafting; a person checks every document against your answers before delivery. The speed is the machine; the judgement is human.
- Your privacy, and your participants'. Client documents can involve sensitive information. We collect the minimum, never use it in marketing, and delete it on request. See our privacy policy.
- No fear-mongering. The deadline is real and we'll be straight about it. We won't manufacture panic to make a sale — and if the deadline genuinely doesn't apply to you, we'll tell you so.
- Money-back, no argument. If a pack doesn't do what we promised, you get a full refund. Our founding clients are reference cases, not a revenue line to defend.

Registration is the front door, not the destination.
