Straight answers

The questions we get most — answered plainly, including the ones about us.

Is this legal advice?

No. RegKeeper provides general information and document preparation support — not legal advice, and not a tailored legal opinion on your circumstances. Our documents are drafted against the publicly available SIL Practice Standards and checked by a human, but they are general in nature. For advice specific to your situation, engage a qualified legal practitioner.

Are you affiliated with the NDIS or the Commission?

No. RegKeeper is an independent service and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the NDIS, the NDIA, or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. When we state a regulatory fact, we link to the official source so you can verify it yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Are you based in Australia?

We're upfront about this: RegKeeper is operated from New Zealand and serves SIL and NDIS platform providers across Australia. The whole service is delivered online — questionnaire, drafting, review and your walkthrough call — so location doesn't change what you receive. The requirements we work to are Australian (the NDIS Practice Standards), and every regulatory claim links to an official Australian source.

Are you lawyers or ex-auditors?

No, and we won't pretend to be. We're a document-preparation and systems service. We turn the published Practice Standards into a complete, tailored set of documents efficiently, and a human reviews every one before it reaches you. Where something genuinely needs a lawyer or a registered auditor, we'll tell you.

How do I know if I'm even a SIL provider?

The NDIS defines SIL as funding for support workers to help with daily tasks — typically 24/7 or 8+ hours of active support a day, often in shared living. A few hours a week is not SIL, participant self-managed workers are not SIL, and the housing itself (SDA) is a separate category. Fastest test: if any participant's plan pays you under a Supported Independent Living line item, the deadline applies to you. Our plain-English guide walks through it, and the free scorecard flags it for you.

Why is this so much cheaper than a consultant?

Because the drafting is done by AI against the published standards, from your questionnaire answers — so the slow, expensive part is fast. The human time goes where it matters: reviewing every document before it reaches you. You pay for the checked result, not for billable drafting hours.

What's the money-back guarantee?

If your pack doesn't deliver what we've described, tell us and we'll refund you in full — no argument. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.

Can you guarantee I'll get registered?

No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. Registration is decided by the NDIS Commission and your approved quality auditor, based on your application and evidence. What we do is get your documentation and evidence ready so you go in prepared. You lodge the application yourself.

How do you handle our data — and participant data?

We collect the minimum we need, never sell or share it, and delete it on request. Client documents can involve sensitive information, so our questionnaire is designed to avoid collecting participant personal details, and we ask you not to include any. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

What is the Evidence Vault?

Registration gets you in the door; staying audit-ready is the ongoing job. The Evidence Vault is our upcoming subscription that continuously maps your documents against the Practice Standards, chases missing evidence, and assembles your audit-day bundle. Founding providers get first access at locked-in pricing.
